Another Birthday!!!

Today (12-13-12) is Max's Birthday. He is turning four years old. I can't believe Max is already four. For his birthday, Max got a play shotgun, a toy fire truck, a shovel, and lots more. He wore his Bob the builder shirt on today because he had a Bob the builder cake. Oh and it was delicious, m-m-m! Max had a fun time on his 4th birthday!

In Christ Alone Is a Wonderful Song to Play on the Recorder!!!!!!

At school I have recorder class. One day I found out how to play In Christ Alone, so my mom said I should give a note to every one in the class with the music in the note. Today (12-11-12) my class will be playing it for our recorder teacher for an early Christmas present. I know, It sounds a little early, but I gave the class two whole months to practice it and they're looking forward to doing that. The night I gave the music out, my two friends practiced it until they knew it by heart. the next morning they had it memorized by heart. Now we will be able to play it as a class for our recorder teacher. It will be fun!! 

Piano is Difficult, but........FUN!!!!!!!!!!

I take piano lessons. I am learning to play the song "Sing We Now of Christmas". It is a challenging song to play. I like to take piano lessons, but...........I DON'T LIKE TO PRACTICE! It is fun to just mess around and play certain songs. The  thing that I like most about piano is..... playing really hard songs. I like to impress my parents about playing really hard music. My goal is to play in the Spring Program. The Spring Program is a performance that the whole school sings and worship God in front of lots of people. The school that I go to does this every year in April. My sister and my brother take lessons, too. My sister does NOT like to take lessons. My brother--well, I don't really know :)! I love piano, but..........it is difficult!!!!!  

Christian Schools are Awesome!!!!!!!!

I love my school. The school is a Christian School. We have a chapel where we sing songs and listen to the principal teach us a sermon. I was "born again" (that is what Jesus says when we truly became a Christian) when I was listening to the Easter Sermon. The song "Down the Via Dolorosa" says how Jesus went to the cross and died for our sins. I cried in the song because it was so sad to listen how Jesus had a very hard time  after Judas betrayed Him. But the good thing is that three days after Jesus died on the cross......He rose again and He is seated at the right hand of God in Heaven! Isn't that awesome?! I just love to learn about God and teach about Him at school and everywhere else! If you read this and you weren't a Christian, you might want to go to church and be born again. It will make me very happy to see many people in Heaven. Then, I will see how many people in this sinful world were born again. It is fun to be a Christian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Christmas Tree Already!!!

On December 8th, Emily, Sam, Max, Abby and Daddy  got our Christmas Tree. I can't believe it is already Christmas. Christmas is the best time of the year. I can't wait until Christmas. I always get at least one set of legos each year. I'm only asking for one thing for Christmas this year. And can you guess.....Yes, it's legos. the set is called Epic Dragon Battle from Ninjago. That is the only thing I want for Christmas. I am going to be so happy!!!

Some Chickens, Less Chickens

We have 16 chickens. Over the past few weeks, a hawk has been eating some of our chickens. First, our rooster, Oreo, died for some reason. I saw some white feathers on the ground, so I thought Oreo was defending his flock and got hit in the head really hard. Now we have 15. Three other hens were killed and were eaten by hawks. I say hawk"s" because there are two hawks. One is about 1 a half feet tall with a wingspan of about 1 yard (3 feet) long.  The other one is about 15 inches tall with a wingspan of about 2 feet long. I see the small hawk every day when I give the chickens water to drink. One time the big hawk flew 5 feet above our (me and Emily) heads and 10 feet in front of us. It was magnificent to see a bird right in front of our faces. I just hope it doesn't eat any other of our chickens. I cried when our chickens died because I love my chickens so much. 

My Title

The title Jack, etc, is what my mom came up with. She was going to put: The Stuff that Jack Built, but I didn't like it. Then she chose this one: Jack, etc. I like this one very much. 

Legos, Legos.

My sister and I built a big castle out of legos with lots of other items such as a stable for the horses and an army vehicle. This is our biggest one yet. It took about 3-4 hours for three days to build it. I keep it on my 4-foot tall dresser, so my little brother doesn't wreck it. Oh, and I forgot to ask, what would you like me to draw or build out of legos? Answer in your comments. Building legos is one of my favorite hobbies.

Drawing is Awesome!

One time when I was riding the bus home from school, and I made a new friend.  He is a really good drawer because he takes art lessons. He showed me all his drawings of Super Mario Bros. It made me want to do the same thing: draw Super Mario Bros. pictures. I drew a picture of  Bowser, the koopa king. I will do some more drawings soon. I like playing Super Mario Bros. on the DS with Emily and Sam. Now I spend lots of my time on the computer learning how to draw Mario, Yoshi, Bowser, etc.
