Videos for Summer Camping Vacation

You have to read the post titled "Summer Camping Vacation" before you read this one.

The computer wouldn't let me upload a few videos to my previous blog post so I am making a separate post for them.

When we were at the beach on the swimming day, I wanted Emily to bury me.  I dug myself a little hole and I lied in it until Emily was finished burying me.   Here is the video of  me breaking out of the sand.

Then, Emily wanted me to bury her.  She laid down where I did and I buried her.  So here is the video of her breaking out of the sand.

I hope you liked the videos!  There are more, but the computer won't let me upload them.  Maybe they will be on here in the near future.  It was really fun burying each other in the sand.  The whole trip over all was so fun!  Thank you Mom and Dad for planning this trip for us. :)

Summer Camping Vacation

One of our summer vacations was to go camping along Lake Ontario and go see Niagara Falls.  I will tell all about it.

Day 1:

We arrived at the campground on Thursday afternoon after a 4-hour car ride in our Ford Excursion.  We got out and stretched out our arms and legs.  Then, we started to unpack.  We pitched our new tent because our other one was too small and was falling apart.  Here are some pictures of our first time at the campgrounds.

After we were done unpacking, we drove to the beach.  Unfortunately, there was no swimming because high waves made the seaweed able to take hold of a swimmer and bring him below the surface of the water.  Well, there was still sand there for us to play in.

The lake went out so far!

Here is Sam building a sand tower.

We had cooked-over-the-fire burgers for dinner.  They were very good.  After the little ones (Abby and Drew) had gone to bed, my mom, Emily, Sam, Max, and I went to the recreation hall where we played Foosball.  The teams were Mom, Sam, and Max versus me and Emily.  Mom's team won both rounds.  We walked back to our camp site and played Uno until.......Drew started crying.  That was the end of our first day.

Day 2:

This morning I woke up to the smell of scrambled eggs.

Mmmmmmmm!  Delicious!

Little Drewie was a little grumpy because he had a small fever the night before.

After breakfast, we traveled to Niagara Falls.  It was my first time seeing the falls.  It was awesome!

Drew started to feel better......finally!

The falls were so beautiful!  After the falls, we ate lunch at Denny's.

Abby loves to such her finger.  If you would ask her what flavor her finger was, she would say strawberry.

On our way home, we stopped at a scenic overlook where the water seemed to make a really slow whirlpool.  We also saw a trolley type of thing moving along some wires over the river.
This is the whirlpool with the trolley type of thing going across it.

Emily buried me.  It was so bright!

I buried Emily.

We were all looking at the sea gull.  There were much more than that.

Dad enjoyed reading about cows.

We walked home and got the hot dogs ready.  Later that night we cooked banana boats and sat by the fire together until the little ones went to bed.  We played Uno again.

Day 3:

This morning I woke up to the smell of.......

......BACON!!!!

Abby loves her blanket.

This....is Max when it comes to picture taking.  The other pictures of Max were just lucky snaps.

Drew loves his blanket, too.

YUM, YUM, YUM, YUM!

More delicious scrambled eggs.

After breakfast,  we packed up our tent, camp chairs, and did a little devotional.  Then we left Lake Ontario.

It was a really fun trip.
